About Us

ここは日本の東北地方、秋田県にある大仙市。花火大会でとても有名です。もちろん花火はきれいですが、自然の中の花も美しいです。どうしてこんな形をしているのか、どうしてこんな色なのか、想像するだけで楽しいものです。幸い私の庭にはたくさんの種類の草や花が春、夏、秋、あるのもはひっそりと、あるものは豪華に咲き誇ります。

一番目の庭は日本風。石灯籠、苔、松、モミジなどの中に１２０年になる茶室があります。二番目の庭は和洋折衷。菖蒲、牡丹、芍薬を始め和風、洋風の植物が咲きます。三番目の庭はフルーツ、ハーブが植えられています。ブルーベリー、苺、葡萄、プラム、ローズマリー、バジル、マリーゴールドなどなど。四番目の庭はカッティングガーデン。グラジオラス、ニゲラ、花菱草、ダリア。五番目の庭は野菜ガーデンですが、正面にはブラックベリーのアーチがあります。六番目、七番目も主に野菜ですが、じゃが芋は植える場所のローテーションが必要なので、五番目、六番目、七番目は順繰りにじゃが芋畑になります。

さて、これらの庭で育っている植物はいったい何種類あるのだろうか、その記録を取りたい、また他の人達とも共有したいというのがこのホームページの目的です。名前の知らない野草もあります。新種が発見されるかもしれません。楽しみです。

一番目の庭の横には、三長園という日本茶や陶器を販売している店舗があります。母のやっている店です。この店の前にはいつも庭から採った花や植物が飾ってあります。

今年の春からすべて自宅の庭で育った植物を掲載します。お楽しみに。

This is Daisen city in Akita prefecture, Tohoku region of Japan. It is very famous for the National Fireworks Competition. Of course, the fireworks are beautiful, but the flowers in nature are also beautiful. It is fun just to imagine why this shape is and why it is such a color. Fortunately, my garden has many kinds of grasses and flowers in spring, summer, autumn, some quietly and some gorgeously.

The first garden is Japanese style. There is a tea room (built in 1896) with stone lanterns, moss, pine, maple, etc. The second garden is a mixture of Japanese and Western styles. Japanese and Western plants including irises, peony and peony bloom. The third garden is planted with fruits and herbs. Blueberries, strawberries, grapes, plums, rosemary, basil, marigolds, etc. The fourth garden is a cutting garden. Gladiolus, Nigella, Hanabishi, Dahlia. The fifth garden is a vegetable garden, with a blackberry arch in front. The sixth and seventh are mainly vegetables, but potatoes need to be rotated where they are to be planted, so the fifth, sixth, and seventh turn into potato fields in turn. The purpose of this website is to record how many plants are growing in these gardens and to share them with others. Some wildflowers have unknown names. New species may be discovered. I’m looking forward to it.

Next to the first garden is Sanchoen, a store that sells Japanese tea and ceramics. This is my mother’s store. In front of this shop there are always flowers and plants from the garden. Here are all the plants that grew in our home garden since this spring. looking forward to spring coming soon.
